Saurashtra Gramin Bank is a Regional Rural Bank created under the RRB Act of 1976. It is an amalgamation of three banks, JRGB, JAGB, and SBGB, driven by SBS (now SBI) in 1978. The Saurashtra Gramin Bank is held jointly by the Government of India, the Government of Gujarat, and the State Bank of India. Saurashtra Gramin Bank Home loan
Eligibility
- Individuals aged 21 to 70 have an independent and guaranteed net monthly income (NMI) of Rs. 5000/-.
- Agriculturist with a 7-acre farm, an annual net income (NAI) of Rs. 60,000/-, and ages ranging from 21 to 70.
Interest Rates : Interest rates start at 8.80% based on the borrower’s CIBIL report score, LTV ratio, and profile.
Period of Repayment :
Applicants up to 45 years old are permitted a maximum of 25 years (including any moratorium period).
Applicants over the age of 45 are allowed a maximum of 15 years. (including any applicable moratorium period).
How to Open a Savings Account at Saurashtra Gramin Bank
- First, you must visit the bank branch where you intend to open your account.
- First, obtain the form from there and fill out all of the mandatory data of the customer’s information and other information in the various parts provided in the designated form, such as name, address, contact number, email id, PAN, kind of account to be opened, nominee’s name, etc.
- After completing the account opening form, you must attach KYC papers such as PAN, Proof of Address, and Proof of Identity.
- Some banks require customers to furnish a permanent address and phone number.
- The banker will review the Account Opening Form and any other documentation submitted. If he is satisfied with these prerequisites, he will move forward.
- You will be assigned an account number once the banker’s Account Opening Form (AOF) and Other Documents have been verified. You will then be required to deposit the minimum balance in your savings bank account, as specified by the account type.
- Once your account has been successfully opened, the banker will provide you with a cheque book, passbook, debit card, and other documents, after which you will be able to conduct transactions from your account.
How to open a current account at Saurashtra Gramin Bank
- To begin, you must first visit the bank branch where you wish to open an account.
- Obtain the Account Opening Form and fill in all of the relevant details about the client and other information in the various parts provided in the form, such as name, address, contact number, email address, PAN, kind of account to be opened, nominee’s name, etc.
- After completing the account opening form, you must attach KYC documents specific to the type of account you wish to open, such as a savings account, current account, etc. These documents will also depend on your status, such as individual, HUF, proprietor, partnership firm, company, trust, and so on.
- The banker will review the AOF and any connected paperwork. If he meets these standards, they will move forward.
- Following that, you will be granted an account number and need to deposit the minimum sum into your account.
- After that, the bank will successfully open your account, and the banker will hand you a cheque book, passbook, and other documents before allowing you to begin using your account.
Saurashtra Gramin Bank Mobile Banking
Register on SGB Mobile Banking
- After downloading MB 2.0 from the Play Store or the App Store, click Register.
- Enter the registered mobile number.
- Enter the Account Number.
- Confirm the Account Number.
- Enter Captcha.
- Enter the OTP.
- You have now successfully registered. When you next log in, the system will prompt you to enter your MPIN, TPIN, Security Questions, and Bio-Metric.
View/Download account statement
- Go to My Accounts.
- Account Statement
- Select Account from the drop down.
- Select Transaction for the Current Period or Specific Period.
- Choose view to see transactions on your screen, or pdf to get the statement in pdf format.
- Please keep in mind that the statement can only be seen or downloaded for one year. For example, if a consumer wants a statement for the last three years, he or she must examine and download it three times.
Transfer Funds
There are four categories to consider while transferring monies.
- Fund Transfer (Own Account): This is used to transfer funds to accounts that are associated with the same CIF, i.e., the same customer.
- Fund Transfer Within Bank: This option is utilised when a consumer sends funds to an SGB customer only (not their own account).
- Other Bank Transfer: When a customer attempts to send funds to someone who has an account with another bank, other than SGB. This transfer option includes IMPS, NEFT, and RTGS.
- Quick send: When the customer wishes to send funds without specifying a recipient for both intrabank and interbank transfers. The daily limit for such transfers is only ₹10,000.
Change ATM Password
- Go to ATM Card Services.
- Click on ATM PIN Generation.
- Select the account number with which the ATM card is attached.
- Select the card number.
- Enter new PIN and confirm PIN.
- Enter the OTP.
- Your new ATM password has been successfully configured.
Give a Cheque Book Request
- Go to request.
- Cheque Book Request
- Select the account number for which you want to acquire a cheque book.
- Click on Request.
- You will get a 25-page cheque book for SB accounts and a 50-page cheque book for CA/CC/OD accounts at your registered communication address, as recorded in the bank’s CBS records.
